Winter 2009

Even though it's not technically winter yet, I think the first snowfall qualifies as time to change over to the next season...

The boys and I had a LOT of fun playing in the snow. I haven't had this much fun in the snow since I was a kid!

After some initial stumbling...

... Owen and I cleaned off the car.

Jonah wasn't so into helping.

Next we moved on over to the swings and sled rides (=workout for me).

Owen loved tossing the snowballs I made him off the ledge. The next one the camera managed to catch in mid-air.

With the above picture, you can play "Where's Jonah?"... He had wandered off... again. See him?

The next four are really fun pictures of them going back and forth on the swing!

At one of our weekly Sunday dinner potlucks, Liz got everything all set up for everyone to decorate gingerbread cookies.

Jonah helped/snacked on one.

Above you can see the cookie versions of us that Liz made.

Jonah dressed himself to go outside one evening. Thanks to potty training, I had to edit some of them for appropriateness!

When we put up our Christmas tree, I got the tripod out to take a photo. The boys decided they needed to use it, and that I didn't know how.

We spent the week of Christmas at Grammy's house (my mother).

A huge line of stockings!

The boys didn't really get into any buildup of Christmas morning, until we started opening things. Owen was happy to just drive his truck past all the gifts, even as we were telling them we were going to start opening presents soon.

Once they started opening, though, it got quite fun!

Finally, from later that morning, a Christmas video greeting from the boys!

Owen likes to read to his stuffed animals sometimes. He says "Would you like me to read this book to you?" and then he sits down and flips though the pages with them, reciting as much as he can remember from each page.

Two more random photos to finish it up.
