Spring 2010

During my spring break from classes, we stayed at home and relaxed while the weather was amazing!

I like their teamwork in these photos.

Grammy came out to visit the boys for a weekend, too.

We also used some Christmas gift certificates to get a family tent, so we can actually sleep comfortably when we go camping this summer!

The boys were practicing camping with my head lamp.

I just happened to take a picture of Owen sitting with his Turtle at the table, pretending to feed it.

For Easter, we went up to Liz's sister-in-law's parent's home along mid-coast Maine. It was a beautiful weekend, and we had fun visiting with Liz's brother and his family, including the boys' baby cousin, Miles!

After Easter baskets, we went for a walk along the beach.

I like Owen's "photobomb" of the landscape shot above. Did you notice him?

We found a chain attached to the rock, so they wanted me to chain them there by tying it to their belts.

In the afternoon, we set up a little Easter egg hunt, but with healthy snacks instead of candy...

The last two eggs had little toy cars, which the boys were very excited about!

We took the boys' out for dinner to use up a gift certificate. Here are some cell phone pics of them chowing down on their corn!

Liz took an old pair of corduroy pants and made backpacks for the boys. She did an awesome job, don't you think?

Another photo of Liz's craftiness: a table she refinished for the boys, and the chef outfits she made them! (oh, and homemade muffins)

Next, a couple of videos:

I love that they like to eat raw veggies when we cook—including raw onions!

We took a few photos at their Uncle Dan's medical school graduation.

Owen looking at boats with auntie Danielle out the window of the restaurant (which was itself a boat).

The grandparents surrounded by all three grandkids at lunch.

They were so tired they even slept through the fire engines leaving the station right across the street with sirens blaring and horns honking!
